A bomb exploded in Mandaue City, Cebu after it was thrown in business establishment on July 5, 2018.
A BOMB exploded on Thursday dawn, July 5, after it was thrown at the business establishment reportedly owned by alleged drug lord Peter Lim on MC Briones St. in Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
The Police Station 2 of Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) received the report that a loud explosion was heard at 2:15 a.m. inside Hilton Motors.
MCPO investigators, Explosive Ordinance Disposal team, K9 Unit and Special Weapons and Tactics checked the establishment.
No one was reported injured.
President Rodrigo Duterte had named Lim as one of the drug lords operating in Central Visayas. The Cebuano-Chinese businessman has repeatedly denied the allegation.
Last Saturday, June 30, three men attempted to set ablaze the Lim-owned Infinity KTV Bar in Cebu City. No one was injured.
