A 4.7 M #Earthquake also felt in Cebu City, Mandaue City, Lapu-Lapu City and other parts of Cebu.
There were no immediate reports of damages and injuries. The earthquake made several people in panic and nervous.
4.8 earthquake published by USGS while Phivolcs rate it as 4.7 magnitude.
It was remembered that a strong magnitude 7.2 earthquake shook Boho, Cebu and other parts of Visayas back back in 2012.

ReplyDeleteAN EARTHQUAKE rattled Central and Western Visayas killing seven in Negros Oriental and Cebu provinces, causing power blackouts, temporary communication shutdown, traffic jams, closure of businesses and cancellation of schools.
The magnitude 6.9 quake which occurred 11:49am Monday was tectonic in origin with a depth of 10 kilometers and with the epicenter located between Cebu and Negros islands, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Philvolcs).
