2 Holidays in Cebu City on February 24 and 25, 2017
CEBU CITY, Philippines - Cebuanos will enjoy at least two holidays for the whole month of February this year.
February 24 Friday will be a special non-working holiday in the City of Cebu for its 80th Charter Day commemoration pursuant to the Republic Act 7287.
Looking back, it was on February 24, 1937, when the City of Cebu was born by virtue of Commonwealth Act No.58. The then Municipality of Cebu who was under the Cebu Provincial Government became an independent Chartered City known as "Cebu City".
Another holiday will be on February 25 Saturday as it will be the 31st Anniversary of the Edsa People Power Revolution which is declared as a special non-working holiday throughout the country.
