Updates: Typhoon Chedeng / Waysak nears Philippines landfall on Easter Sunday April 5. Chedeng is getting weaker as it approaches the coasts of northern Philippine provinces.

At 4:00 pm today, the center of Tropical Storm “CHEDENG” was estimated based on all available data including virac doppler radar at 340 km Southeast of Casiguran, Aurora (14.8˚N, 124.9˚E), with maximum sustained winds of 115 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 145 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 20 kph

Typhoon ‪#‎ChedengPH‬ has weakened into a tropical storm while over the Philippine Sea. It is still expected to make landfall over the coast of Southern Isabela by Sunday morning.
