Visayas specially the eastern part smashed by typhoon Ruby / Hagupit when it made landfall on December 6, 2014. Ang bagsik ni Ruby made a power blockout, communication cutoff and toppled electric posts in different parts of Visayas. Tacloban and Samar got damaged during the day.
