Based on the security guard's testimony, at around 11 am, a man riding a motorcycle was met at the guardhouse in Archbishop's Palace.
The security guard denied the unidentified man entry. The man insisted that he had to see Archbishop Jose Palma. Upon several denials, the motorcycle zoomed inside the palace.Police officer Estremas was one of the first person to respond in the vicinity. Estremas told the gunman to hit the dirt but refused.
Based on several accounts, more than 10 gunshots were heard within the vicinity. Up until this moment the police are still investigating who shot the gun first and what the motive of the armed man was.
